Private Residence Lakatamia I is a fully renovated apartment of 230 square metres in Lakatamia, Nicosia, reimagined by Kivo Design House. Set within a building with real character, the home underwent a radical transformation, rethought from the ground up into a calm, contemporary space for everyday family living.

The renovation reworked the entire layout, opening the living and dining areas and reshaping the private quarters so the apartment feels generous, bright and effortless to live in. Built in furniture and considered planning make the most of every square metre, giving each room clarity and purpose.

The material palette is soft and contemporary, layering natural timber, stone and muted, neutral tones with warm, considered lighting. Clean detailing and restraint let the space breathe, so the result feels understated and timeless rather than overworked.

The outcome is a refined city apartment that honours the character of its building while bringing it firmly into the present, a private, comfortable home designed to feel effortless.
