Mountainview Luxury Residence

Mountainview Luxury Residence is a single storey holiday home of 270 square metres in Platres, set among mature trees and open nature with clear views across the Troodos mountains. Kivo Design House designed the full interior for an expat family seeking a calm, private retreat in Cyprus, a house to return to for rest and slow, unhurried living.

Laid out entirely on the ground floor, the home unfolds as a series of connected, light filled spaces that stay close to the landscape. Three bedrooms, a cellar and a striking walk in wardrobe are woven into a plan that feels generous yet grounded, with large openings framing the greenery and drawing the outside in.

The style is warm and quietly contemporary. A natural, earthy palette of timber, stone and soft plaster is layered with tactile textures and muted tones, so the interior settles gently into its surroundings. Considered lighting and understated detailing let the materials and the views take the lead.

The result is a serene, nature led residence where architecture, interior and landscape move as one. A place designed for calm, completed in 2026.
